ASBESTOS REMOVAL - DISPOSAL

During the removal and disposal of objects containing artificial mineral fibres (AMF) or asbestos specific safety measures are required in order to protect humans and the environment. The fibres and fibre dusts released during such processes require particular monitoring.

The TRGS 521 describes technical and organisational measures relating to removal and disposal of artificial mineral fibres.

The artificial mineral fibres are generally used as insulation material to protect against noise, heat and fire, e. g.

•   facades
•   interior walls / walls made of lightweight construction panels
•   acoustic ceilings
•   floors in roof extensions
•   sound insulation
•   plaster containing mineral fibres
•   heat insulation in roller shutter boxes
•   pipe insulations
•   sprayed insulation

The Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS) 519 include regulations relating to the disposal of hard and soft asbestos.

Asbestos is widely used for fire protection in the form of:

  • insulating panels
  • facade claddings
  • roof coverings
  • floor coverings
  • insulation material
  • sealing material

As a specialist company authorized to dispose of harmful substances we work in compliance with the applicable Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances.
